STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
- Prices shown include standard installation of a battery system when added to an existing compliant solar system in a metropolitan area. Standard installation excludes the following, which can be quoted separately if required:
- Upgrading existing solar system or meter / distribution board to be compliant
- Adding / rearranging solar panels
- Cabling of more than 20 metres between any 2 areas of the system.
- Remote location of site
- Installation of bollards to protect batteries from vehicles in a garage
- Installation of fire protection panels between battery systems and habitable rooms
- Installation / upgrading of smoke alarms if required for compliance
- Freight / delivery to site
- Additional features not described above.The client explicitly waives its own standard terms and conditions, even if these were drawn up after these standard terms and conditions of sale. In order to be valid, any derogation must be expressly agreed to in advance in writing.
- Payment terms require 100% payment before delivery of equipment to site and/or installation.
- The "Cheaper Home Batteries" Federal Government program provides a discount based on STCs - this has already been factored into the price, and requires these STCs to be assigned to EV Watts or its nominated parties.

We will arrange for a CEC-accredited installer to carry out the installation services; You must ensure the installer has safe and clear access to your Premises and the installation area at the agreed time.
- Any non-compliance of your existing electrical system may need to be rectified as part of the installation, and therefore may incur additional charges.
- Equipment is covered by the manufacturer's warranty (10 years in most cases) which is available for download from our product pages. During this time, we will contact the manufacturer on your behalf if equipment is found to be faulty.
- System installation is covered by a Defects Liability Period (DLP) of 12 months, wherein any faults or issues with the system will be fixed at no cost to you. After this period, there may be labour costs involved in replacing faulty equipment.
- Your rights are
governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia and Australian Consumer Law.
